Purse

Don’t you just love handbags?  If you’re a guy, maybe you don’t.  I could spend a ton on purses.  A new handbag makes me feel like a fresh start on getting organized. 

To stay organized I discovered I must go with small.  I am 5′10″ so I love BIG bags but the purse I carry most of the time looks a little like this one, only mine is all black with a longer strap.  It’s a Coach and very cute but not this cute.

Get Organized

Mine cost about $100 a few years ago.  I have bought several more expensive purses since then and love them but I seem to always go back to this one.  Here’s what I keep in it.  I try to think like a guy.  They carry very little – a wallet, maybe a pocket knife, maybe a money clip and chap stick, keys, small comb, maybe a tiny pocket appointment calender and pen - that’s about it I think.   

So I carry about the same thing…

Brighton Wallet

I have a blue wallet made by Brighton that I really like that holds everything you think it would - my checkbook, credit cards, and cash.  I carry a elegant Pelican fountain pen that my staff gave me for my birthday one year.  I collect fountain pens and this is my favorite.  Add a lipstick, fingernail file, and and cute tiny spiral notebook and I’m good to go.
